Where do you hang your wreaths? - floral door wreaths

My partner and I are of one mind, and I wondered what was the consensus of the crown block. It is a crown of flowers and in my head I say he should be hung on the door.

He says he should stay inside. My problem is a bit boring, but it was a gift from his sister's inlaws and none of us wants to hurt them.

I've never seen in 30 years to be a wreath on a wall, as a Christmas at home.
