Sea Glass Earrings Sea Glass?

Sea glass? - sea glass earrings

I try to make sea glass in a glass coat, but he still scratches up grains of sand! Is there a kind of super-fine grain that may fall is good. I've heard that the sand mixed with water, whereby the foam is that on the sand, dust the top and use the call. Does it work?

You have to go through several cycles, starting, of course, as the grain of sand, silicon carbide, # 80 and then finer and finer grit to a fine polish end as cerium oxide and tin oxide. A vibration polishing of glass better than a glass of rotation and the addition of plastic pellets, walnut shells word to soap dish, sugar, Karo syrup, or something similar to reduce impact damage in soft materials such as glass. The idea is to finer and finer scratches on the material you are working to make the biggest reason to, until they are too small to be seen. A few grains Peices greater even than the scratches, so make sure that any cleaning in between each step, or you get more fine-grained way through the various steps and deeper scratches.

You can order all the grains of different waxes and a number of places online, just search "lapidary supplies. Most of these sites have a section of how-to, glass, sea, you can just as Instuction obsidian work.
